What’s going on in the Village Manager’s office?

Can someone please explain to me why the deputy village manager was fired when the village manager has been participating in, shall we say, questionable activities? What is going on in Oak Park? First the shake-up in the police department, and now the village manager’s office? Seems the powers that be have lost their minds.
