A medical examiner is at work on the 1000 block of Clarence in Oak Park after police found a body in several bags near a garage this morning.
Local police have also called in members of a drug and gang task force, who are canvassing the neighborhood.
“It appears the body was just dumped,” Police Chief Rick Tanksley said.
According to Tanksley, the body is that of a man who was in his mid-30s.
Oak Park police got the call about the bags in the alley this morning, just before 11 a.m.
