After reading the Oak Leaves article about the performance of the field hockey team, “OPRF finishes second in state,” I was disappointed to see the title selected for a similar article in the Journal. [Huskies fall in state championship, Sports, Nov. 5]
The title, “Huskies fall in state championship” greatly diminishes the extraordinary performance of this team in the state tournament. Furthermore, besides an article that appeared a few weeks ago after the team had an upsetting defeat, the team received little coverage in the Journal despite their impressive record. Perhaps it is time to provide better news coverage for this team.
