Bryan Stubbs, I couldn’t agree more with your commentary. [Condo owners punished by parking policy, Viewpoints, Sept. 10]

I live in the same neighborhood and am constantly moving my car from

Oak Park Avenue
to
Ontario Street
to Euclid back to Ontario, while watching the commuters leave their cars on Ontario while they take the trains. You have to get up early in the morning and go to bed late at night to keep ahead of the parking police.

I couldn’t agree more. Before moving to
Oak Park two years ago, I lived in Lakeview and Wicker Park. While parking was difficult, it was fair.

Oak Park needs to remove the overnight parking ban and restrict certain areas to residential parking only (for a reasonable rate to residents!).

I just don’t understand how every other city and town in the area has it figured out except
Oak Park. The village board needs to get out more.
