Just wondering why the gas prices in Oak Park are higher than any other nearby area. Oak Park stations are charging anywhere from $4.19 per gallon to $4.29 while surrounding suburbs are charging much less. Berwyn gas prices I saw were around $4.01, Riverside $3.92, Summit $3.98. There should be a price-gouging investigation into the gas stations with ridiculously high prices.

Since the price of oil per barrel is going down, the price of gas should also go down. These stations were quick on the trigger when the price of oil went up, raising prices even before they paid for the next tankerful, but when oil prices went down, they were slow to react.

It all comes down to one thing: “GREED”
