The Oak Park Zoning Board of Appeals is expected to rule January 8 on the application submitted by Oak Park and River Forest High School to install lights at its football stadium.
The ZBA heard additional testimony from neighbors opposed to lighting OPRF’s stadium at its meeting on Wednesday. The meeting started at 7 p.m. with OPRF’s application the second of two cases to be heard that night. The meeting went until 2 a.m. with attorneys for the neighbors and the school resting their cases. Both will submit written closing arguments before the January 8 meeting, which is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
