Many would say putting one’s “personal whims ahead of the needs of the neighbors” is just what those opposing the lights are doing. It depends on perspective, doesn’t it? This isn’t athletes vs. neighbors. This is an entire community discussing adding and changing a community resource. I, for one, would love to see some “civility, moral compass, and consideration” from the neighbors. Filing a lawsuit to block what has been a fair and very open community process teaches a great lesson. If you don’t get your way, just file a lawsuit.
Thankfully, most of us in the village follow the lawful processes in place and live with the outcomes.
