The annual Halloween Parade on the Avenue was great fun this year. On behalf on the Avenue Association, thank you to all those who attended. In addition, thank you to The Eyeglass Shop, Fly Bird, Great Harvest, Magic Tree Bookstore, The Perfect Dinner, Score, and The Avenue Kids for providing spooky treats, activities and entertainment. Thank you to the Avenue businesses for providing tricks and treats to the children. Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to Village President David Pope and family for serving as grand marshall again this year. Finally, we would like to thank the Oak Park Police Department for the safety patrol they provided and the Oak Park Fire Department for leading the way. We look forward to the annual Halloween parade again next year.
