Mr. Paris, stop playing politics with our public safety services [RF trustees could appoint new chair to police committee, News, Aug. 8]. Just because you have finally mastered Roberts Rules of Order after 20 years of public service, does not mean you can hide or displace the gross mismanagement of the police department. If Mr. O’Brien would have held at least one police committee meeting a year during the past six years, maybe the rank-and-file officers would not have needed to publicly release a no-confidence resolution. Let’s move to the future and make the right changes to bring new leadership to the organization.
