Milio Campana, 89, Business manager, WWII veteran
Milio Salvatore Campana, 89, of Westmont and an Oak Park resident for many years died Aug. 1, 2007.
Born Dec. 15, 1917 in Morgantown, W.Va., Mr. Campana was a manager for a laundry business. He served in the Marines during World War II.
He is survived by his children, Gary (Linda) Campana and Nancy (David) Anderson; his grandchildren, Amy (Kevin) Rodde, Scott Campana, and Douglas and Brittany Magnuson; his great-grandson, Aaron Rodde; his brothers, Albert (Rose) and Arthur (Tess); his sister-in-law, Carmie Campana; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, who died in 2006, and his brothers, James (the late Ruth), Sontry (the late Adele), James, and Anthony (the late Gen).
Visitation was held Aug. 3 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home in Countryside. Funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 4 at St. Cletus Church in LaGrange, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
