As I walked to my car in the Jewel parking lot on Lake Street in River Forest recently, I saw a truck belonging to Davis Tree Care and Landscaping Company in the lot. It had bumper sticker-type wording on the left rear part of the truck that said: “Save a Horse – Ride a Cowgirl.”
I thought I would come home and call the company and say that I find that offensive, but I am writing to you and your readers instead. What would you do? Also, does it seem to you as if the women’s movement never happened?
