Thank you for publishing Eric Davis’ opinion piece on the proposed Whiteco building. I am amazed that his opinion needs to be published, that Oak Park would consider such an ugly monstrosity. Davis nailed it with the name: Son of Cabrini. The building looks like it belongs in 1960s-era Miama Beach. My husband and I are appalled and saddened at the damage this building will do to the character of our community. I hope the village rethinks this before it is too late.
