More than 500 supporters of Hephzibah Children’s Association turned out for the organization’s annual Heart of Gold Ball, held Feb. 25 at Pazzo’s, 311 S. Wacker, downtown Chicago. The event raised more than $150,000 for the not-for-profit organization, which serves more than 1,200 individuals annually in Oak Park, River Forest, Chicago, and suburban Cook County. Hephzibah Children’s Association enhances the lives of children and families through a continuum of innovative services”from group homes, to foster care and family support services, to school-age daycare programs. Special thanks for an entertaining and worthwhile evening go to Master of Ceremonies Kevin Roy, ABC-7 news anchor and reporter; Heart of Gold Ball sponsor Ameriquest; and the members of Hephzibah’s Oak Park, western suburb, and Chicago Auxiliary boards.
