In anticipaption of the responses from various sources on my comments on senior management at village hall, I want to thank the 50 or more employees who signed a thank-you card to me.

To those too fearful to sign, I fully understand and share your concerns.

Also, let me acknowledge the one negative e-mail I received and the 12 positive e-mails for taking a stand on the smokescreen leadership at the hall.

Management has learned how to convince themselves, and others, how great a relationship they have with employees. They know if they just say, “This is a personnel matter, and we respect the privacy of the employee” or “our form of government does not allow trustees to engage in personnel matters,” that everyone will go away.

Well there is a lot more to what is going on than stock phrases … I am not going away.
