I was very disappointed to read that District 90 is considering sending away the early childhood special education students in order to make room for a growing regular education population.
This approach is not just, and it is not fair. The board members and administrators need to formulate short- and long-range plans which address the issue of classroom space without discriminating against children with special needs.
