Under the Ginkgo celebrates 15 years
Under the Ginkgo Tree hosted a party from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 27 to celebrate its 15th year as a bed and breakfast in Oak Park.
Food and drinks were served at the event, which was open to the public in hopes of attracting new customers such as business travelers to the B&B, said Under the Ginkgo owner Gloria Onischuk.
“It’s for those who maybe don’t know I’m here,” she said.
The 4-bedroom B&B also seeks clients who use the house’s dining rooms for business meetings, birthday parties and non-overnight activities.
Attendees came ready to have fun, Onischuk said. A collection of hats were strewn about the house for party-goers to don and have their pictures taken in.
