I have no doubt that Hoodoo Headwear is going to be around for a long long time. Their store is fresh, trendy and still they offer classic styles. It would seem hard to do that all in one place. But Hoodoo pulls it off.
I attended their ribbon cutting today. Folks were happy, really laughing and enjoying themselves amongst the hats. And I loved recognizing those in attendance as pro-economic development, movers, shakers and supporters.
I'm going to make an extra effort to start attending new business openings and their ribbon cuttings regularly.
Whatever town you are from, wherever you may currently be laying your hat, it's hard to not be excited about new businesses opening up. Here in Oak Park there doesn't seem a better way to grand open your doors than with a ribbon cutting ceremony put together by our local OPRF Chamber of Commerce with plenty of business leaders around who all want you to succeed.
There are some wonderful new things happening at the OPRF Chamber of Commerce. I think the Chamber has taken some small and large steps to make them a strong business partner in the area. As a business advisor I'm finally telling folks to join the Chamber again. For sure, the ribbon cutting ceremony is something the Chamber has always offered it's members. It's a tradition and maybe as a new business it's worth it to join just to have the few moments to revel in your opening celebration. In the last few months the Chamber has added a new web site, welcome bag opportunities and new member options. So, it's not just advantageous to join for the ribbon cutting ceremony. (but this isn't about the Chamber)
Congratulations to Hoodoo Headwear. Our hats off or on to you, we are so pleased you are here.
