Nothing better than a little shopping trip to get myself out of a rut, so I have the latest finds from new local resources.

Bee Home & Garden, 128 Chicago Ave, Oak Park.  This gorgeous new shop is a little oasis, especially the back garden!  The product mix is a curated collection of home decor items, kitchen wear; jewelry & scarves, antique inspired garden pots; and lucious plants & flowers.  I bought a glass terrarium jar, and cute '50's style iced tea glasses with wicker cozies!  Check out the etherial jewelry I am all about for the Indian Summer ahead.

River Forest native Alanna Chiefari, recently launched her own e-commerce Chloe & Isabel jewelry line: a lovely combo of precious & semi precious stones, in casual light layers, pretty colors, retro, & nature inspired looks. I also love the tough girl spikes & woven metal pieces.

You can view her collections at: https://www.chloeandisabel.com/boutique/alannadionne. Stay tuned for the Mémoires de Paris collection launching on her website soon!  Contact Alana for more info: #708.218.7306, achief01@gmail.com

Here is a tip to getting more out of your jewelry collection: try mixing metals, and combining fashion jewelry w/ fine jewelry.  Take 2 of these and experiment: gold, silver, rose gold, vintage rodite or pewter, & brass -  its a definite DO.
