A closet chock full of accessories a la Carrie Bradshaw is something I can only dream about. I am a big believer in bringing life to tired outfits by switching up the accessories. Have a simple white blouse that you wear under a suit jacket? Try untucking it and pairing it with a long grey or stripped maxi skirt, then add a skinny bold cobalt, yellow or wide metallic belt. A scarf in the hair or around your neck and a huge stack of fun bangles: et viola, new ensemble.

From Muse: a woven belt is a must for defining the waist and adding texture to your look, like this one from Motif 56, genuine leather $98.00  Breezy summer scarves are an easy add on, Hoss scarf $88.00.  The sparkly sheen on this maroon string ray and suede cuff makes it all more eye-catching, by Annie Deiamantidis - made in Chicago.

Get instant cool-chic with this lovely nude messenger style handbag from Hoss; I especially love the 'rope' strap detail. Try these accessories and more to instantly update your warm weather look with these great accessories from Muse.

Scratch n sniff doesn't have clothes, unless you count dog sweaters. But they have very cute accessories like purses, scarves, etc, for humans. Also, Majamas has some cute human clothes.

Takara, Ananas, Sanem, Chameleon, Filoni, Gap, Old Navy, several consignments stores, there are plenty. I wish there were more at a lower price point.

Hi Donna & Shopper, thanks so much for your comments; I am a fan of Muse, you are correct! I am getting around to everyone, its a big job - would be happy to feature the shops you would like to see more of - any you have in mind?

I agree that you should feature the other great clothing shops in Oak Park. It seems that you have a connection to Muse and Forest Park shops.

It would be great if some other clothing stores in Oak Park were featured here. Muse is not the only one.
