Tullips & daffodils blooming, Easter bonnets, all conjur up a desire to dress up like a Lady. One of the first things I do when working with a new client in her wardrobe is an excersize to help her determine her style aesthetic: the Romantic, Bohemian, Classic, Preppy, the Punk, Modern, or the True lady.
I would have to say, on most occasion, I am a combo of the Romantic & Boho….but there is one day out of the year where I will don the outfit of a True lady – Mother’s Day! Including the Kentucky Derby, this is one day when the wearing of hats and gloves is almost required.
