I can't believe I have missed the Sugar Plum Market in years past. This once a year annual event that coincides with the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society's Housewalk was a lot of fun. It was a great chance to meet artists and vendors alike. Most every table of original art was manned by the original artists. Rarebird Preserves, of course, falls into my "art" category. I hadn't ever met Elizabeth Madden, artist creator behind this fantastic brand and it was a great chance to do so.
And I would venture to say that with over 40 unique vendors, there is something for everyone to look at, or something for everyone on your list; from leather ties to ribbons and chocolate.
The Market continues tonight and tomorrow.
