Yikes! The Oak Park Micro Brew Review was a big hit last Saturday. No less than the president of the Chicago Beer Society pronounced this the second biggest and best craft beer festival in the Midwest (after the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, Wis., which draws 6,000). Organizer Gary Cuneen of Seven Generations Ahead forwarded the following testimonial from Rob Renfro of Glen Ellyn:
"Fantastic job! Spreading the site out across the tracks made all the difference in the world. In fact, I had no idea that part of downtown was as attractive as it is. Problem is, now my wife wants to come back and shop, so I guess the thing will end up costing me more than I figured. Anyway, while there seemed to be big crowds, there was absolutely no problem with the lines. Add all that to the fact that you ordered perfect weather and I can't think of anything that you could improve upon. Plenty of helpful volunteers too. This one will be hard to top! Well done."
