Forest Park police have joined the search for a 39-year-old Oak Park man who was last seen around 10 a.m., Wednesday morning, near Cermak Road and Desplaines Avenue, in Forest Park.

Deputy Chief Tom Aftanas told the Wednesday Journal's sister newspaper, Forest Park Review, that officers began a "walk-through" of Woodlawn cemetery Wednesday afternoon to search for Jassen Strokosch. He did not say how long it would last, but noted the search began after Oak Park police sent out a bulletin asking area police departments and the public to be on the lookout for Strokosch.

"We're hoping that the press coverage will yield some calls and some tips," Aftanas said.

The public is advised to either contact the Forest Park Police Department at 708-366-2543 or the Oak Park Police Department at 708-386-3800 with any information.

"Sarah", you do realize you are not anonymous here. Your grudge against this man is obvious and has so little to do with the events of this week. Please get over your grudge before you lose sight of what's important. Your family needs you. Please get help.

This story seemed fishy from day one.
