Owners of a River Forest business are hoping for a little help to qualify for a $250,000 grant titled Mission: Small Business, sponsored by Chase and LivingSocial.
Darryl Hughes and Edye Deloch-Hughes, of Hughes Who Productions, a virtual game development company, hope to get the needed 250 signatures via Facebook in order to qualify for the loan.
The deadline for voting is June 30. The business needs 160 votes by that date to make the qualifying 250 votes. They hope to secure the grant to help update their current site to incorporate new direction, execute new proprietary games and develop their Hughes Who Youth Studio traveling workshop.
For more about their business, visit hugheswhoproductions.com.
To learn how to vote, visit missionsmallbusiness.com. From that site, people can vote by logging into Facebook and searching the site by typing in Hughes Who Productions or searching by state and city. Voting is done by clicking on the blue "vote" button next to their business name.
