The OPRF boys soccer program recently announced that seven players will be continuing on to play the sport in college.
Henry Burt, Nathan Mitka, Ryan Huettel, Stephen Golz, Mike Rajter, Nick Radosaviljevic and Dave Leitson all helped the Huskies to a program-record 20-win season back in the fall. OPRF ended up falling to eventual Class 3A state champs Morton in the playoffs.
Burt and Mitka will play at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Huettel is headed to Colorado College, while Stephen Golz will attend the same college his older brother, Drew, has been at, Wheaton College. Rajter will also remain in Illinois and attend Aurora University. Radosaviljevic is headed to Salisbury, N.C. to play for Catawba College. Leitson will play at Grinnell College in Iowa.
From the OPRF girls team, Joy Dennis is heading to Denison University and Katy Oldach to Grinnell College.
