Wrong, because her work has harmed the community at large.

The Hazel Hanson Award is given to a member whose work within the League of Women Voters not only serves to promote the goals of the organization, but also has a positive impact on the community at large. Nancy Leavy is indeed an appropriate member to receive this honor!

Nancy Leavy has served the League in so many capacities including the board, voter services, advocacy, membership, financial audit, and nominating committees. She has been a true asset to the League every step of the way.
