Help decorate boxes this Saturday that will be used during the Oak Park Conservatory’s annual plant sale next month.

Join members of the Neighborhood Giving Project from 10 a.m. to noon at the conservatory, 615 Garfield Street. They’ll assemble boxes and decorate them with Earth Day messages and drawings before the boxes are used for purchases from a plant sale fundraiser on May 4 and 5.

Attendees can also learn about the sources of sugar during the conservatory’s weekly Exploration Station, or take a behind-the-scenes tour of the greenhouse. If the weather is nice, organizers will lead a clean-up effort around the conservatory and possibly over to Rehm Park.

To attend the event, RSVP to fran@neighborhoodgivingproject.org, or nikkir@neighborhoodgivingproject.org
