League of Women Voters hosting candidate fairs for Oak Park and River Forest

The League of Women Voters of Oak Park & River Forest is sponsoring a candidate fair from 1-3:15 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St.
At the forum will be candidates running in the April 9 municipal election, which includes District 200, Oak Park Library Board, and village president. Candidates from both contested and uncontested races will be present. The Oak Park village board is one of the uncontested races. Candidates in contested races will speak, while the uncontested race candidates will have campaign literature available. Guests will have the chance to speak with the candidates.
The League of Women Voters will also be hosting a candidate for River Foreset trustee and village president candidates Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Concordia University, 7400 August St.

Actually, the LWV timing is perfect for me. Spring break means no school meetings, sports, etc. to conflict. No time is best for everyone. However I join Mary Ann in expressing my appreciation to the LWV for sponsoring the forum.

Thank you to The League of Women Voters of Oak Park for sponsoring the candidates forum. However, the date should have been considered because this is the start of District 97 and 200 spring break. Is there an option to change the date??
