Golden Apple scholar for Fenwick

The Golden Apple Foundation of Illinois identifies talented future educators and helps them to achieve their dreams of teaching. Senior, Melanie Kogol (Chicago) was selected to become a Golden Apple Scholar after going through a rigorous and competitive selection process. She will take part in yearly summer institutes and receive tuition assistance as she pursues her studies to become a teacher. In return, Melanie and other Golden Apple Scholars agree to teach in a high-need school in Illinois for five years.
