The Giving Project is having an "Idea Drive." We are seeking community-service ideas from kids in the community. We want kids to have ownership in The Giving Project and the service work they do.

If a child's idea is selected, we will be contacting the family to see if the child would like to help take the lead on executing their project. And if the family is OK with it, they'll also get a mention on our Facebook page, website, and we would love to have them promoted in the paper too.

We're collecting ideas from now until Jan. 23 via email submission or via drop-box envelopes posted at the three library branches. Fliers explaining the Idea Drive will be posted at businesses around town and on bulletin boards, as well as distributed via PTO websites and District 97's Digital Backpack.
