Eating an Italian beef at a local eatery on Friday will get you more than just a satisfied stomach.

Buona Beef, at 6745 Roosevelt Road in Berwyn, will donate between 15 and 25 percent of its sales Friday to West Suburban PADS, a Maywood-based homeless-help organization. The final donation will depend on what items you buy, according to PADS.

All sales on Friday will count toward the fundraiser — whether through dine-in, carryout or drive-thru — and Buona is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

You need to present a copy of this flyer to have a portion of your purchase go toward PADS.

I would like to see Oak Park donate our portion of the entire PADS operation to Berwyn.

That's very disappointing that it was necessary to bring a copy this flyer to have a portion of the purchase to go towards PADS. Obviously my 25 percent didn't go to PADS when I had a beef there Friday.
