Two student-athletes at Fenwick High School recently signed to continue on in their respective sports at Division I colleges.
Marisa Wakely, a softball player for the Friars, signed with George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. Wakely plays catcher for Fenwick.
Swimmer Haley Wickham signed with the University of Pennsylvania. The senior recently helped the Friars finish runner-up at state for the second year in a row. Wickham was a part of the 200-yard medley relay team that set a new state record of 1:41.87. She also helped the 200 and 400 freestyle relays to second place finishes. On an individual level, Wickham placed fourth at state in the 100-yard breaststroke.
