Oak Park Health Department offering flu shots Thursday

The Oak Park Department of Public Health will host a community influenza vaccination clinic for residents 2 years of age and older from 1 – 6 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 15 at Village Hall, 123 Madison St.

While appointments are urged, walk-ins will be welcome. Parents of infants under age 2 are encouraged to contact the child's physician to arrange for flu vaccinations. Flu shots through the Health Department are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 18 years of age. Medicare B recipients must present a Medicare card to demonstrate eligibility for a free flu shot. To schedule an appointment with the health department, call (708) 358-5601.
