Oak Park and River Forest High School this week crowned its annual winner of its Dr. King Oration Contest.

Anthony Moaton took place first for his winning essay about Dr. King, which he delivered in a speech Tuesday at the school’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly. In second place was Demonet Oliphant, and third place finishers were Alexa Lisitza and Latroy Robinson.

Tuesday’s assembly included spoken word and dance performances by students.
