Trinity's Podkowa all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks

The Trinity basketball team's Megan Podkowa is now the school's all-time leader in career points, rebounds and block shots.

Podkowa, a 6-foot-1 forward for the 28-1 Blazers, has thus far tallied 2,023 points, 1,152 rebounds and 304 blocked shots in her career playing for Trinity.

The senior, who with 18 points helped lead the Blazers to a 56-16 thrashing of Argo in the opening round of the Class 4A Trinity Regional on Tuesday night, will play for DePaul University next season.

The Blazers host area-rival OPRF on Thursday night in the regional title game (7:30 p.m.).

We are so proud of Megan, and the entire team for an amazing season. Megan is an amazing young woman who is not only athletically talented but kind and smart too!
