Police arrested a 30-year-old woman in the 300 block of S. Taylor and charged her with endangering a child after her 4 year old son was found walking alone outside wearing a blanket and complaining of a stomach ache around 6:50 a.m. June 23.
River Forest Police charged a 21-year-old Chicago man with attempted murder, aggravated battery and domestic battery after he allegedly followed his ex-girlfriend from a movie theater in Melrose Park, struck the car she rode in with his vehicle, tried to run her over, and then exited his car and punched her repeatedly.
A purse was snatched while a woman sat at an outdoor café in the 900 block of Lombard around 7:20 p.m. June 18. Two males, around 16 years of age, reportedly grabbed the purse and ran eastbound on Harrison.
After an investigation lasting several weeks, Oak Park police arrested a 61-year-old man who allegedly filmed up women's skirts at an outdoor festival with a micro-camera attached to his shoe. Police observed Christopher Meyer of the 1100 block of Erie acting suspiciously during the Thursday Night Out celebration in downtown Oak Park the evening of June 20.
After a months-long investigation, Oak Park police on June 7 arrested a former bookkeeper who had worked at Total Nurses Network in the 1500 block of North Harlem Avenue and charged her with felony theft.
