The Fenwick softball team shutdown, shutout and swept Joliet Catholic in doubleheader action on Saturday. 

Taylor Arends earned her way to third base three times in the OPRF softball team's doubleheader against Glenbard North on Saturday, but victory slipped away from the Huskies in both games.

While the trip to Florida was likely blessed with warm weather, the Fenwick baseball team didn't exactly find blissful enjoyment on the ballfield.

With both teams jumping off to favorable starts in their respective seasons, it was only fitting that the annual clash between OPRF and Fenwick girls soccer last week would end up a nail-biter.

Fenwick (6-0-1) scored three goals in the second half to pull away for a 4-1 victory over Morton.

The Huskies upped their record to 5-1 with a 2-1 victory over Morton last week.
