John Edward Price, 70, a longtime Oak Parker who retired to Columbus, Ind., died on Nov. 2, 2011 at Hospice of South Central Indiana. Born on Aug. 23, 1941 in Detroit, Mich., the son of Edward F. Price and Felicia Karr Price and the stepson of Edward W. Kulaski, he married Mary McGoohan in Evanston on June 28, 1968.
Joan M. Pellegrini, 76, died on Oct. 17, 2011. An active member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church in Oak Park, the Berwyn United Neighborhood Gay and Lesbian Organization where she served as treasurer, Friends of the Berwyn Library where she also served as treasurer, Berwyn Library Afternoon Book Club, and the All Berwyn Committee.
Marjorie Ann Clarkson, 88, died on Oct. 27, 2011. Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wis., she attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, in her early years she gained fame as "The Enzo Jel Girl," appearing on the carton of Enzo Jel products.
Donald Stenson Williams, 82, of Oak Park, died on Nov. 1, 2011. Born on Sept. 16, 1929 in Little Rock, Ark., he spent most of his life in Oak Park, graduating from Oak Park and River Forest High School in 1947 where he ran track and field.
Mary Bonfield Corbett, 71, of River Forest died on Oct. 29, 2011. Born on June 3, 1940, she was a graduate of the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest and the Newton College of the Sacred Heart in Newton, Mass. A former teacher and principal at Alcuin Montessori School, she was also a carpenter, and self-taught bagpiper.
A memorial Mass for Mary Ann Genetti will be celebrated at St. Giles Catholic Church, 1025 Columbian Ave., Oak Park on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. Visitation will take place at 9:15 in the church for those who wish to share their memories.
Gloria Lee (Funk) Weakley, 75, of Oak Park, formerly of Shelbyville and Decatur, died on Oct. 14, 2011. Born on June 7, 1936, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Kenneth Earl and Orah Downs Funk, she was a graduate of Shelbyville High School, class of 1954, and Millikin University. She worked as a pharmacist's assistant at CVS Pharmacy.
Elizabeth M. Becker (nee Witte), 71, died on Oct. 11, 2011. She was an Oak Park resident. Born on October 8, 1940, Elizabeth worked at Concordia University for over 36 years, most recently serving as Associate Director of CenSRCH.
Pearl T. Harding (nee Tillotson), 96, died on Sept. 23, 2011. Born on Sept. 25, 1914 in Chicago, she was the only child of Cassius C. and Grace M. Tillotson. A longtime resident of Oak Park, she worked most of her life in the women's fashion industry as an accessories buyer for various department stores, including Wallace Gilmour Inc., in Oak Park.
