Oak Park police say they are still investigating the death early Tuesday of a 17-year-old girl from Sheboygan, Wis., from an apparent heroin overdose at an apartment building. Emergency personnel found Kimberly Ciotola, whose family had reported her missing to Sheboygan police on Monday, in the hallway of a building at 855 Lake St.
A 17-year-old boy who held an underage drinking party last week turned himself into police, Nov. 4, and was charged with obstructing identification after he gave a false name to an officer in connection with the incident.
A man who took $340,000 from Dominican University over eight months pleaded guilty last month in federal court in Peoria to mail fraud and money laundering. The university found out from an investigator in March that Timothy J.
