Paul has lived in the same home for 104 years. He worked as a pharmacist for many years in the Austin-Oak Park area. He taught Pharmacy at the college level. In fact, he taught Dr. Elich's father (Peterson's Pharmacy) in pharmacy school.

Ruth Lamie Schappert, 85, a longtime resident of Oak Park, died at home on March 25, 2013. Born on Jan. 1, 1928 in Erwin, Tenn., to James and Jenny Lamie, she was a graduate of Unicoi County High School and attended East Tennessee State University.
Donald Rehkopf, 90
Donald Caspar Rehkopf, 90, died on Feb. 20, 2013 in Ellensburg, Wash. He broke his hip last October while visiting his daughters and never fully recovered.
Marie Trilik, 86
Marie B. Trilik, 86, of Oak Park, formerly of Iron River, Mich., died on March 11, 2013 at Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park.
Patricia Francis, 84
Patricia L. "PL" Francis, 84, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Chicago and River Forest, died on March 14, 2013. A graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School and Northwestern University and a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, she spent a semester at Oxford.
Barbara Porter, 74
Barbara Lynne Porter, 74, a resident of Mills Tower in Oak Park, died on March 19, 2013. She received a degree in theater from Mundelein College and taught at St. Peter Elementary School in Skokie for 32 years.

Margot E. Clayton of Oak Park died on March 18, 2013. Born in Oak Park on April 26, 1943 to the late Bernard and Leila Kinsala, she was raised in the Austin area, graduated from Austin High School and in 1965 from Cornell College.
