At its final home game of the regular season, Trinity celebrated three players on the team: Alison Sansone, Katie Jarger and Rachel Blonski in a special Senior's Night. For Jarger, it became an extra special night as she surpassed the 1,000-point mark of her varsity career on her first basket, a 3-pointer.
AYSO spring soccer Registration for the 2005 AYSO spring soccer season will take place on Saturday, March 9, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Longfellow Center. The center is located at Ridgeland and Jackson in Oak Park.

Wow! That's the only response one could have had at the end of two concerts that recently graced our local schools. The first was on Friday the 4th at Oak Park and River Forest High School, where three different student jazz bands?#34;nearly a hundred musicians altogether?#34;held the audience rapt for nearly two hours under the inspired direction of Scotty Jones.
I was happy to hear that the Park District of Oak Park was putting a referendum for increased funding on the April 5th ballot. My family uses many park district programs and facilities so the need to invest in the facilities is obvious to me.
I urge all Oak Park voters to attend at least one of the upcoming District 97 school board candidate forums to learn about the candidates and the issues. I believe anyone who does will conclude that Carolyn Newberry Schwartz, the current District 97 board vice president, deserves reelection.
