Julia Lynn Clemons, 43, died at her home in Brighton, Mich., on April 17, 2013. Born on Nov. 26, 1969 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Harold T. and Caryl J. Rohlfing.
In memoriam: Adolph 'Bud' Herseth, 91

Adolph "Bud" Herseth, principal trumpet for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for 53 years and considered the greatest orchestral trumpet player, died at his Oak Park home on April 13, 2013.
Jack Wirtz, 78
John Henry "Jack" Wirtz, 78, died on March 12, 2013 at his home in Ottawa. Born on August 20, 1934 in Chicago to Anthony J. and Alida (Freund) Wirtz, he grew up in McHenry and attended McHenry High School, where he earned an Eagle Scout Badge.
Edward Fiedler, 81

Edward H. Fiedler Jr., 81, formerly of Oak Park, died peacefully on March 20, 2013 of cancer at his home in Leesburg, Fla.
Leo Harmon, 80

Leo J. Harmon Sr., 80, a longtime River Forest resident, died on April 13, 2013 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. A native of Chicago's Austin neighborhood, he was the youngest of six children born to James and Marion Harmon.
Donald Taylor, 80
Donald J. Taylor, 80, of Oak Park, died on March 20, 3013. Born in Alton, he worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years and then at Spitzer, Addis, Susman and Krull Law Firm. He was an active and dedicated member of the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church in Oak Park and enjoyed fishing, camping, the Cubs, and ice cream.
Vaile Scott, 87
Vaile Scott, 87, formerly of Oak Park and River Forest, died on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Valparaiso, Ind. He and his wife, Mary, lived here prior to moving to Valparaiso and Sarasota, Fla. All six of the Scott children went to Oak Park and River Forest High School.
Mark Keane, 93, Oak Park's first village manager

The first village manager hired in Oak Park back in 1953 was 34-year-old Mark Keane. It was his job to change the culture of local government, a task he pioneered during his 10-year tenure as village manager. Mr. Keane died on April 12, 2013, surrounded by his large family at his home in Sedona, Ariz. He was 93.
Paul Soderdahl, 106
Paul Soderdahl, a lifelong resident of Oak Park, died on March 28, 2013 at the age of 106. Born on July 10, 1906, he lived for 105 years on the 500 block of North Humphrey.
