I was appalled to read the bigoted, hateful, and wildly inaccurate column written by Ken Trainor in your Sept. 23 issue [Contraception promotes greater respect for life, Viewpoints]. Would the Journal have printed such a screed attacking any other minority group? The article condemns itself by the sharp contrast to the message of love, respect, and protection for all humanity, regardless of differences, so eloquently and sincerely spoken and demonstrated by Pope Francis. Shame on Mr. Trainor and shame on the Journal for printing his dark, nasty, and bigoted outpouring.
