Loretta Biedermann, OPRF High School grad, teacher

Loretta Ann Biedermann, 94, a resident at the Bethesda Lutheran Home in Chicago, formerly of Oak Park, died on Sept. 5, 2011. Born in Chicago to Joseph and Amelia Biedermann, she was a graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School and Pestalozzi Froebel Teacher's College in Chicago. Before retiring, she was a second-grade teacher at James Giles Elementary in Norridge.

Ms. Biedermann is survived by her cousins, Margaret Strother and Barbara Reynolds, her nephew John Biedermann, and many other family members.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 30 from 10:30 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Edmund Church, followed by interment at St. Boniface Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Edmund Church, 188 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park 60302 or Heartland Hospice, 4415 Harrison Street, Hillside 60126.
