Diane Schulz, 68, Trailside Museum curator

Diane C. Schulz (nee Ducat), 68, of Hanover Park, formerly of Oak Park and Forest Park, died on Sept. 18, 2013. Born on May 11, 1945, she lovingly volunteered and worked as curator at Trailside Museum in River Forest for over 15 years. She will also be fondly remembered waitressing at Mr. A's Restaurant at Chicago and Cicero avenues in Chicago for many years.

Diane Schulz is survived by her husband, Paul D.; her daughter, Teresa (Richard) Hildebrant; her grandchildren, Justin (Bibi Patino), Michael and Caitlyn Platzner; her great-grandchild, Sophia; her siblings, Joan Caster, Mary Vashaw, Kenneth Ducat, and Blaine Ducat. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul W. Schulz, and her brother, Robert Ducat.

Visitation was held on Sept. 22 at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home in Forest Park, followed by a funeral service on Sept. 23. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery. Additional information is available at http://www.zimmermanharnett.com or at 708-366-2200.
