Hundreds turned out on Friday to say goodbye to longtime Fenwick coach Dave Perry, who died on Sept. 11 after a long battle with cancer.
Perry's visitation service was held at Fenwick High School, only the third hosted at the school in its history. Fenwick coaches Tony Lawless and Dan O'Brien also had their visitation services held at the school.
The line for Perry's wake stretched throughout the school, with a waiting time average of about two hours.
"We had schools who brought entire water polo teams to pay their respects," said Fenwick Communications Director Jen Butler.
