Twenty-six members of the Oak Park Architectural League gathered for a reception earlier this month to celebrate the work they have on exhibit at the Oak Park Public Library Gallery through September. The exhibit includes photographs of completed work, renderings of work in progress, animations, models, decorative details and artwork by architects who live or work in Oak Park or River Forest. Design work ranges from the restaurant at Millennium Park and Promentory Point on the Chicago lakefront to the Illinois State Supreme Court Building. The Oak Park Library, and renovation/additions at the Dole Center and Oak Park Conservatory are also included. The gallery exhibit is open for view during regular library hours.
