Frank Vobornik, 79, Machinist and die maker at Navistar

Frank Vobornik, 79, of Oak Park, died on July 30, 2012. A village resident for over 40 years who raised his children here, Mr Vobornik loved his vacations, which included Devil's Lake, the Smokey Mountains with grandkids, Colorado motorcycling, and the many cruises he took with his wife and family. He worked for over 50 years as a machinist/tool and die maker at Navistar. His family and friends describe him as a kind, generous, dedicated, and loving man.

Frank Vobornik is survived by Patricia, his wife of 55 years; his children, Donna (Marc), Laura (Tom), Ron (Catherine), and Mark (Amy); his grandchildren, Gar, Emily, Addison, Wiley, Elyse, Morgan, and Max; and his siblings Bob, Jim, Violet, Evie, Bill, and Fred.
