Chicago police investigating death of Oak Park man in Lawndale neighborhood
The 59-year-old was found unconscious with head trauma

A 59-year-old Oak Park man, found unconscious Aug. 28 in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood, was pronounced dead Thursday, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Marc Anthony Oliver, of the 1200 block of North Elmwood Avenue, was found unconscious in the 1200 block of South Troy Street near Douglas Park. He had suffered a head trauma, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez. Police do not yet know what caused the trauma and are awaiting results from the medical examiner's office. The case is currently a death investigation, Perez said.
Oliver was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead there at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the medical examiner's office.
