Inability all the way around

Here's a summary of last week's front-page story [Private meeting, public comment? News, Aug. 21]. Despite three years of negotiating, Oak Park has not been able to agree on a contract with its union employees. The new village president has not been able to refrain from commenting on those negotiations, and, as a result, several trustees have not been able to hide their annoyance with the president.

Key finding: While there may not be a contract, there is no shortage of inability.
